California Eastern Laboratories unveils the Model UPG2189TB high-power SPST (single pole single throw) GaAs MMIC switch from NEC. Its ability to handle high GSM input power levels with low harmonic distortion makes the switch suitable for switching the tuning and matching elements in multi-band antennas. In addition to its high power handling capability, it features high isolation, low insertion loss and broadband operation to 2.5 GHz. It also includes low control voltage capability down to 1.26 V. The switch is housed in NEC’s industry-standard SOT-363/SC-70 ROHS-compliant “TB” package. Evaluation boards are available to help speed circuit design.
