Addition of Two Multi-chip Modules

California Eastern Laboratories (CEL) announces the addition of two multi-chip modules to its growing family of NEC GaAs CATV hybrid amplifiers. Both feature bandwidths of 40 to 1000 MHz for high output capacity, and both are offered in RoHS-compliant industry-standard packages. With 22.5dB gain, the MC-7832-HA push-pull amplifier is designed to serve as an input stage for line amplifiers, nodes, splitters, trunk amplifiers and bridgers in bandwidth-hungry networks. Its low noise and high linearity help ensure reliable delivery of digital content. With 19dB gain, the MC-7891 broadens the performance options in NEC's family of 1 GHz power doublers. It also features desirable linearity making it suitable for the delivery of digital programming.
