LNA Targets ISM Band Applications

Designers of antenna modules for satellite radio receivers will be interested in NEC's newest InGaP LNA MMIC. The UPG2310TK provides high gain (27 dB), low noise figure (1.8 dB) and high intercept point, all in a compact 1.5 3 1.3 3 0.55 mm package. The 3.0 V UPG2310TK is designed to replace two stages of discrete devices, which can lower the parts count, simplify the circuit design and save real estate. The LNA is appropriate for the 2.4 to 2.5 GHz ISM band.
