Hetero-Junction FET

California Eastern Laboratories announces the availability of an ultra-low noise 20 GHz Hetero-Junction FET from NEC. The NE3514S02 is a suitable choice for DBS LNB modules or as a first stage LNA in a variety of receiver applications. With performance that extends past 24 GHz, the NE3514S02 is also suitable for sensor applications in the ISM band. At 20 GHz, the NE3514S02 delivers typical noise figures of 0.75 dB with 10 dB Gain, so it can improve system sensitivity. It is housed in one of NEC’s newest Pb-Free HJ-FET packages, the S02. This hollow plastic surface-mount package has an overall footprint of 3.2 × 3.2 mm and features recessed leads for lower inductance and improved performance.
