CATV Push-Pull Hybrid Amplifier

CEL announces a GaAs push-pull amplifier to its family of NEC CATV hybrids. Designed to serve as an input stage for line amplifiers, nodes, splitters, trunk amplifiers and bridgers in bandwidth-hungry networks, the MC-7831-HA delivers 1 GHz of bandwidth with low distortion and low gain change over temperature. Suited for applications that require high output power, the MC-7831-HA is designed for stable performance under extreme temperature and environmental conditions. Assembly and DC/RF testing of hybrid amplifiers are fully automated at NEC, ensuring consistency and reliability. Housed in an industry-standard, RoHS-compliant 7-pin package, the MC7831-HA is designed to drop into and enhance the performance of existing networks.
