SPDT RFIC Switches

CEL announces that NEC has released three SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) GaAs IC switches in a 6-pin TQFN package that measures 1.0 mm square × 0.37 mm high. Compared to the industry-standard SOT-363 package, these TQFN switches offer a 76% reduction in footprint and a 61% reduction in height. This low profile gives module designers an alternative to using die in their modules or other height-constrained designs. The switches operate from UHF to 3 GHz and include: the uPG2158T5K, uPG2159T5K and uPG2160T5K. Insertion loss at 2 GHz is 0.45 dB (dual control); 0.35 dB (dual control) and 0.35 dB (single control), respectively. Isolation at 2 GHz is 19 dB for the uPG2158T5K, 25 dB for the uPG2159T5K and 18 dB for the uPG2160T5K.
