Transistor Amplifiers

CEL announces two medium power SiGe HBT transistor amplifiers from NEC. The 800 mW NESG250134 and 1 W NESG260234 are designed for two-way radio applications like FRS (Family Radio Service), GMRS (General Mobile Radio Service), and SMR (Specialized Mobile Radio). They deliver high gain with high collector efficiency, which helps to reduce DC power consumption in handheld, battery-powered products. They can also serve as low distortion amplifiers for return path applications in CATV infrastructure networks.
