GaAs Switch ICs

Designers of Mobilecomm, Bluetooth, and Short Range Wireless products will be interested in NEC's new low cost 1/2 watt UPG2214 SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) GaAs switch ICs. In addition to performance at 3 V, the UPG2214 offers guaranteed performance at 1.8 V control voltage. The UPG2214 delivers low insertion loss, high isolation, and good power handling capability. Featured specifications include: control voltage is 1.8 to 5.3 V; insertion loss is 0.30 dB typical @ 2.0 GHz; isolation is 27 dB typical @ 2.0 GHz; P1dB is +27 dBm typical @ 3.0 V and +20 dBm typical @ 1.8 V. Designed to be used for T/R (transmit and receive), antenna diversity, and band select switching, the UPG2214 is available in SOT-363 TB packaging and TK packaging.
