Connector Family Features Touch-Safe Housings
Anderson Power Products offers its PowerModHP (high power) series connector family that features touch-safe female housings, cable strain relief and integral positive latches. The series is RoHS-compliant, and it is rated up to 450 A for appropriate applications at a 30° C temperature rise. Using proprietary Sterling contact technology, the series offers low electrical resistance, it provides a minimum of 500 mating cycles, and it is rated for circuit interruption (true hotplug). These connectors are IP 20 rated (touch-safe) for user safety. The integral coding key provides further protection by allowing the user to configure mating of up to six individual connectors. They accommodate American wire sizes from #6 to #4/0 AWG, and metric wires from 13.3 to 95 mm2.
