Peregrine Semiconductor Corporation announces the PE926C31 RS422 Rad-hard transmitter and the PE926C32 RS422 Rad-hard receiver devices for space applications. The PE926C31/32 devices operate at 3.3 V with a total dose tolerance guaranteed to 300 kRads (Si), which makes them suitable for satellite applications. Evaluation kits support development with the devices, which are packaged in the 16-lead CFP, and UltraCMOS technology tutorials are available.
