Astrodyne Corporation announces its ASM Global Performance Series line of ultra-miniature, open frame switching power supplies. Approved for medical applications, the series features reduced size and lower cost for use in demanding power applications. The members of the ASM series provide output power over a range of 10 to 15 W. All models accept universal input from 90 to 264 VAC. Ten models are available that provide single outputs of 3.3 to 24 VDC. Features include single sided construction for high reliability, an integral power-good LED indicator and an output adjustment potentiometer. All models operate over an ambient temperature range of 0° to 50°C without forced cooling or output power derating.
