Thin Film Resistors

TT electronics IRC Advanced Film Division has introduced the COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) family of its TaNFilm® and TaNSil® thin film resistors. Precision Thin Film Chip Resistors (PFC) are available in 0603, 0805, 1206 and 1505 chip sizes. IRC's PFC chip resistor series provides the stable performance of the tantalum nitride film system to ensure precision in the harshest environments. Featuring leach-resistant nickel barrier terminations, absolute TCRs to ± 10 ppm/° C, and tolerances to ± 0.02% the PFC series is suited for replacement of MIL-Spec components. SIP networks are available with absolute TCRs to 10 ppm/° C and tolerances to 0.01%. High reliability DIP network offer TCR tracking to ± 2 ppm/° C and ratios available to ± 0.01%. Flat Pack Series Resistor Network offers ultra precision with absolute tolerance to ± 0.02% and rations to ± 0.01%. ± 1 ppm/° C TCR tracking and custom schematics are also available. Small Outline Networks (SON) are suited for reflow soldering techniques with absolute TCR to ± 10 ppm/° C and tracking ± 5 ppm/° C standard with ratios available to ± 0.01. IRC's ultra stable TaNSil resistors on silicon satisfy high volume applications that demand a small printed wiring board footprint (0.05 inch lead spacing). TCRs are available to ± 25 ppm/° C and TCR tracking to ± 5 ppm/° C in 8, 14 and 16 pin sizes.
