The Modular Jacks from Molex are available in five colors, as well as the standard black option. By choosing from orange, green, blue, gray and yellow, each jack can be customized to match the color of a cable assembly to prevent mismating and increase design flexibility. Available in three configurations - a right angle version with a low profile, a SMT version, and an inverted version with a top latch jack - the custom-colored jacks meet several different design requirements. They are suited for a variety of network system, consumer and office/home equipment applications. They can also be used as a designated test port in systems for trouble-shooting.
