Surge Protectors
Citel announces the expansion of the SurgeGuard family of AC power line surge protectors. The enhanced offerings include products with surge capabilities up to 400 kA (8/20 μs) and 60 kA (10/350 μs). The SurgeGuard 400, 300, 200, 165 and 125 provide protection against both conducted and induced transient overvoltages that may be caused by direct lightning strikes, utility switching or other random electrical disturbances. These modular devices incorporate heavy-duty busbar construction and real-time diagnostics into its design. Redundant surge pathways with individually fused and monitored MOVs ensure safe, reliable protection in even the harshest environment.
