Four Port Serial Family

Sealevel introduces the SIO4-104 family of four port PC/104 serial I/O modules. RS-232 and RS-422/485 interfaces are available to meet application requirements. Various UART options and extended temperature range models are available. SIO4-104 modules conform to PC/104 specifications and support data rates up to 921.6K bps in RS-422/485 mode. Interface is accomplished via a 40-pin header connector. The boards ship with Sealevel's suite of Windows® 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP drivers. The company also includes WinSSD, an application providing testing and diagnostic capabilities. Use WinSSD for BERT, throughput monitoring, loopback tests, and transmit test pattern messages. In addition to Windows drivers and utilities, SeaCOM includes application notes and technical details to simplify installations in LINUX®, QNX®, and DOS.
