Micrel's MIC2605 and MIC2606 integrated switch and Schottky diode boost regulators exhibit an input range from 4.5 to 20 V while operating at 1.2 and 2 MHz, respectively. The units supply a switch current of up to 0.5 A, an output voltage of up to 40 V and up to 2 MHz PWM frequency. The components are suitable for TV tuners, broadband communications, TFT-LCD bias supplies, positive output regulators, SEPIC converters, DSL applications and local boost regulators. The devices come in a 2 × 2 mm MLF-8 package and complement the MIC2601/2 family.
