Current Sense Transformers

The CT series current sense transformers from Datatronics meet the requirements of European Directive 20002/95/EC governing the manufacture of electronic components (including bobbin materials) and electronic equipment, which requires the use of lead-free solder as well as the elimination of cadmium and mercury. The transformers, suitable for DC/DC converter applications, feature a 6 mm square surface mount design with a 4 mm seated height. Turns ratios are available from 1:20 to 1:200, and the series performs optimally at frequencies of 100 kHz and above. Electrical parameters include an inductance range of 100 to 1000µH, a resistance range of 0.50 to 27.50Ω maximum, and an isolation voltage of 500 Vrms minimum.
