Bypass Low Noise Amplifiers

Hittite Microwave Corporation introduces its models HMC605LP3(E) and HMC593LP3(E) bypass low noise amplifiers (LNAs) which are suitable for applications in telematics, broadband, WiMAX, WiBro and fixed wireless bands from 2.3 to 3.8 GHz. They are compact GaAs pHEMT MMIC bypass LNAs which are rated from 2.3 to 2.7 GHz, and 3.3 to 3.8 GHz, respectively. They deliver a low noise figure of 1.0 dB, high output IP3 of +29 dBm and up to 20 dB gain. Both LNAs feature an integrated bypass path which exhibits 2 dB loss. They operate from a +5V supply, and they are switched between LNA mode and bypass mode via a single, CMOS compatible, 0/+5V control line.
