High Isolation Switch Die

Hittite Microwave Corporation announces the release of two high-isolation SPDT MMIC switches, which are suitable for test and measurement, microwave radio, industrial and military and space applications from DC to 15 GHz. The HMC607 is a GaAs MMIC high isolation SPDT switch die which is rated from DC to 15 GHz, and exhibits a low 1.5 dB insertion loss and high 70 dB isolation at midband. This compact MMIC employs a non-reflective topology, and features four separate control lines allowing the user to independently control the series and shunt elements on each side of the switch. As a result, the HMC607 can be configured as a standard SPDT with, or without an "all-off" state, or as an ultra-high isolation SPST. A non-reflective SP4T can be realized with only two HMC607 MMICs, whereas alternative topologies would require three SPDTs. This versatile SPDT MMIC accepts control voltages of 0/סV, and requires no fixed bias and no external.
