WiFi Modules Simplify Connectivity for Multi-Media Access



TriQuint Semiconductor announces its WiFi modules that support multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) 802.11 n wireless connectivity. RF modules enable fast wireless connections and increased distance for consumers, as well as system design efficiencies for device vendors. These front-end modules enable a size reduction and enhanced performance because all critical device functions are built into a single chip. By using three modules in parallel within the RF front end, three receive and transmit ‘3ࡩ’ signal paths are available instead of one, enabling higher data rates. The modules covers the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands in the WiFi portion of RF systems.
