Digital Temperature Sensor

Dallas Semiconductor introduces the DS75LV, a digital temperature sensor that operates from a low 1.7 to 3.7 V supply-voltage range. The DS75LV is suitable for low-power and battery-operated systems, and any other system that uses low supply-voltage rails. The DS75LV is factory-calibrated to an accuracy of ± 2.0° C (maximum) over its entire voltage-supply range and a – 25 degrees C to +100° C temperature range. It is ۣ.0°(maximum) accurate over its full – 55° to +125° C operating-temperature range. The device is function-, pin- and software-compatible with the popular DS75, which makes it is easy to migrate to low-voltage designs using the DS75LV. The Dthermometer provides user-selectable 9-/10-/11-/12-bit digital temperature readings that translate to resolutions between 0.5° C(9-bit) and 0.0625 ° C (12-bit).
