AML announces the availability of a plug-in SMP amplifier module, Model AML618P1211-S. Operating in the frequency range of 6 to 18 GHz, this product delivers +27 dBm output power and 12 dB of gain. With the connectors located at the base of the amplifier, the SMP package can be mounted directly to the board, eliminating the need for cable interconnects. Internal DC regulation and reverse voltage protection are included.

    Dimensions are 1.38”(L) x 1.22” (W) x 0.74” (H).  The amplifier is hermetically sealed and operates over -40°C to +85°C temperature range.

    Alternate configurations with different gain and power are available.
