CANBus 26.5 GHz Switches

Dow-Key Microwave announces a 26.5 GHz CANbus-Controlled SP6T Smart Switch with internal 50Ω termination. The switch utilizes the latest generation of Microcontrollers that incorporate a CANBus interface fully compliant with V2.0A and V2.0B standards. DC characteristics include 22 to 26 VDC (24 VDC nominal). Operating current is 250 mA typical at 20° C. Equipped with a latching actuator, this device switches in 50 ms (maximum). This multi-position switch targets the ATE market and provides desirable insertion loss repeatability (± 0.05 dB up to 9 GHz). Its CANbus architecture integrates easily into large switching systems that use more than 130 switches in one network, reducing complex programming and integration time. Specifications for P/N 461L-480822N (DC-4 Frequency Range (GHz)) include: VSWR (max.) 1.2:1; 0.2 Insertion Loss (dB maximum); Isolation: (dB minimum) 80.
