Fan-Out Switch Matrix

Dow-Key announces a CANBUS-based solid state switch matrix with RS-422 control interface that performs from 3.4 GHz to 4.2 GHz and is available in full fan-out configurations from 32 × 32 to 32 × 64. The matrix consists of two Input Modules (housed in 3U rack mountable chassis), four output modules (each housed in 6U rack mountable chassis), and one Controller Module (housed in a 3U rack mountable chassis). The controller module is equipped with a Windows-based PC computer, front-panel with touch screen for manual override. While the 5096 switch matrix is designed for signal routing applications, it can also be utilized as a building block for numerous ATE applications. The matrix is equipped with hot swappable redundant power supplies and hot swappable input and output cartridges. Impedance is 50Ω.
