Z-Communications, Inc. announces its Model CRO2715D-LF lead free, RoHS compliant, coaxial resonator oscillator in S band (2670 to 2760 MHz), offering an ultra low (typ.) phase noise performance of –108 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset. This design offers a linear tuning sensitivity of 34 MHz/V (typ.), and it covers the band between 0.5 to 4.5 V. It delivers 5 dBm output power (typ.) at 5 VDC supply while drawing 18 mA (typ.) over the extended operating temperature range of -40° C to +85° C. This VCO is suitable for applications that require linear tuning and optimal phase noise performance. This model comes in a small package that measures 0.50 inchesࡦ.50 inchesࡦ.22 inches. It is suitable for automated surface mount assembly and reflow, and it is available in tape-and-reel packaging for production requirements.
