Z-Communications, Inc. announces the introduction of their lead free, RoHS compliant, coaxial resonator oscillator (CRO2935B-LF) in S band (2850 to 3020 MHz) featuring ultra low phase noise performance of –109dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset. This design offers typical tuning sensitivity of 23 MHz/V and is designed to provide 0dBm output power (typ) at 8Vdc supply while drawing 26mA (typical) over the extended operating temperature range of –40°C to 85° C. CRO2935B-LF comes in Z-Comm’s industry standard MINI package measuring 0.50 in. × 0.50 in. × 0.22 in. This VCO is suitable for automated surface mount assembly and reflow. This is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements.
