Miniature VCO
Z-Communications, Inc. announces the introduction of their sub miniature VCO (SMV4710A-LF) with low phase noise performance. SMV4710A-LF in frequency range of 4538 to 4903 MHz is designed to meet the high performance requirements of microwave radio applications. This module offers low phase noise performance of 㫫 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz. SMV4710A-LF is a high performance model, which provides good tuning linearity with a tuning sensitivity of 190 MHz/V (typ) and superior harmonic suppression of 㪬 dBc. This model operates at 5 VDC supply while drawing 23 mA (typical) over the extended operating temperature range of 㫀° to 85° C. SMV4710A-LF comes in a standard SUB-L package measuring 0.30" 3 0.30" 3 0.08". This VCO is suitable for automated surface mount assembly and reflow. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements.
