Voltage Controlled Oscillator

The V585ME48 voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) covers over an octave by generating frequencies from 950 to 2050 MHz and includes a low pass filter which suppresses the 2nd harmonic to better than – 30 dBc. This wideband VCO covers 1100 MHz within 0 to 15 VDC of tuning voltage while delivering a phase noise of – 99 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset. The V585ME48 operates off a 10 VDC supply while drawing 19 mA. The size of the device is 0.5 × 0.5 × 0.13 inches.
