Pulse Pattern Generators Present Selectable Operation Modes

Picosecond Pulse Labs’ 12000 Series pulse pattern generators offer user-selectable modes of operation while sharing a similar mechanical configuration, and include a front panel GUI interface and GPIB/USB programmability. The Model 12000 offers an output up to 40 V with programmable risetime and repetition rates from 1 mHz to 165 MHz with pulse duration from 3 ns to 1,000 sec. while performing channel add by summing the outputof channels 1 and 2. The 1- or 2-channel rear- or front-panel output instrument has adjustable risetime, amplitude, offset, period, duration, delay, load impedance, and source impedance. The Model 12010 and Model 12020 exhibit serial data testing capabilities, including an option for built-in jitter insertion (multi-unit interval sinusoidal, random and deterministic jitter injection), and 16 Mb memory depth per channel with either 1 or 2 output channels. The generators suit serial data, semiconductor and general-purpose pulse testing.
