Driver Amp Offers On-chip ESD
Mimix Broadband, Inc. announces the release of a 5 to 14 GHz GaAs monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) driver amplifier, packaged in a RoHS compliant QFN package. This device is processed in a highly repeatable, 0.25 micron optical pseudomorphic high electron mobility transistor (pHEMT) process and includes on-chip diodes for ESD protection. The three-stage amplifier achieves 20 dB of gain and 11 dBm of P1dB and is self-biased and uses a single power supply. This packaged driver amplifier, identified as CMM0511-QT, is suitable for a variety of C-, X- and Ku-band applications and comes in a 3 3 3 mm, plastic QFN package and delivers high performance over C-, X- and Ku-bands.
