VCO with Low Current Draw

Trak Microwave has designed and developed a new VCO (voltage controlled oscillator) Model 10-802-4003 for wireless handheld radios that is available in dual band frequencies from 700 - 1600 MHz. This surface mount VCO has a very low current draw at 13 mA typical and phase noise at – 115 dBc typical at 10 kHz, resulting in improved adjacent channel rejectivity. The new VCO's small size and robust surface mount design make it ideal for multiple high volume applications.

The Model 10-802-4003 VCO has a typical tuning sensitivity of 10 MHz/volt and pushing at 0.3 MHz/volt typical and is available in frequencies from 700 to 1600 MHz at bandwidth of 5% with band separation at 30 - 80 MHz.
