The ISL6291 is a highly integrated linear battery charger for single cell Li Ion/Li Polymer powered handheld applications. ISL6291 provides a single output voltage of either 4.2 V or 4.1 V, 1% accuracy, required for safely charging Li based cells. The part is available in a 16-pin 5 × 5 mm QFN package. The ISL6291 has an input voltage range from is 4.3 - 13.5 V. High output current is up to 1.5 A. The ISL6291 utilizes thermal regulation of the charge current to maintain die temperature.
