Two-Element Capacitor Array Reduces Surface Area


Murata Electronics North America introduces its 1-µF 0.9 × 0.6-mm two-element capacitor array. Suitable for reducing surface area and mounting costs, the 0302-sized capacitor array has the 1-µF static capacitance. This model is well suited to be a decoupling capacitor for mobile phones, PCs and digital audio visual equipment. Features of this addition to the GNM series include a 1-µF cap value in a small dual value package, higher static capacitance compared with a single element model and reduced board surface area and placement cost due to high-density mounting.
