AVX has developed a low-profile tantalum solid electrolytic chip capacitor with a conductive polymer electrode that meets the "lead-free 3 × 260° C reflow" requirements. Designated the T case, TCJ series, these low profile tantalum capacitors offer low ESR, safe non-ignition failure mode and good capacitance retention. The TCJ series is suitable for power management systems with operating temperatures up to 125° C. The parts offer a capacitance range of 10° F to 100° F.
