Solid Electrolyte Capacitors
Giving design engineers a replacement for aluminum, polymer, and high CV ceramic devices, AVX's ultralow ESR version of its OxiCap™ Niobium Oxide (NbO) solid electrolyte capacitors have been designed as lead- and halogen-free as well as non-burn up to rated voltage. NOS Series OxiCap™ devices offer reliability characteristics of 0.2 percent per 1000 hours (500,000 hours MTBF) and a temperature rating up to 125° C. Voltage range is 1.8 to 6.3 V. The series' ranges are offered in standard EIA case sizes, and they have been designed so that users can move them easily to lead-free processes. The capacitors are suitable for applications such as notebook and laptop computers, automotive electronics, mobile phones and PDAs.
