Card Kit
AVX announces its Compact Flash (C/F) Type II kit with standard plastic extensions. Designated the 9181 Series, the C/F card kit features a plastic frame, stainless steel covers, and a 50-position receptacle. Typical wireless applications for the C/F card kits include PDAs, pagers, and digital cameras. Custom capabilities include the integration of antennas, Subscriber Identity Modules (SIM), and removable flash memory, broadening the scope of possible applications to GPRS, WLAN, and Edge technology.
An additional version of the kit is available that supports an 18-position receptacle and cabled plug connector for tethered products such as data acquisition.
