Low Noise Amps

Spectrum SEI Microwave introduces the DDX series of low noise amplifiers (LNA) designed to provide a solution for dual band GPS applications. A pair of diplexed 3-pole ceramic filters selects only the desired GPS signals, while the low-noise gain stage maintains the receiving system's sensitivity. The LNA rejects undesired signals by at least 40 dB at 1050, 1410, and 1710 MHz. The series has a frequency of 1575.42 MHz (L1) and 1227.60 MHz (L2) with bandwidth of 30 MHz min. An additional model also covers L5 frequencies. The noise measurement is 2 dB max with 1.4 dB typical. DDX's VSWR is 1.5:1 with gains of 14, 26, 34, and 45 dB and gain flatness of ± 0.5 dB. DC power is either 5 to 15V or 16 to 32 V at 75 mA (typical) and its temperature range is 㫀° C to +71° C. DC voltage applied to the center conductor of the output connector will power the preamplifier or the unit can be powered through an external DC bias connector.
