EMI Gasket and Shielding Line
Spectrum Control Quietshield™ electromagnetic (EMI) gaskets and shielding products are now available in fabric-over-foam, metal mesh, fabric and tape, waved metal, and conductive elastomer varieties. The gaskets provide solutions to stringent shielding, grounding, ESD and packaging requirements and have a shielding effectiveness of 70 to 100 dB between 1 MHz and 18 GHz. The line of fabric-over-foam profile gaskets includes 10 standard profiles, Standard shapes are rectangular, knife edged, D-shaped, flat, double D, folding leaf, P-shaped, round, C-fold, and L-shaped. Standard fabric plating is copper-nickel and seven other platings are also available. Wire mesh gaskets are offered in all-metal mesh gaskets or elastomer core mesh gaskets. These gaskets are available in rectangular-type, P-type, round, and double P-type and can be produced with different types of materials including aluminum, stainless steel, and monel. The shielding tapes are flexible and lightweight and have standard widths of 1 inches, 2 inches, 3 inches, and 42 inches.
