Hybrid Coupler

Anaren Microwave, a manufacturer of microwave signal distribution networks and wireless components, has introduced the Xinger® 2A1306-3 surface mount 3 dB hybrid coupler for use in high-power applications within a broad 1.8 - 2.5 GHz bandwidth.

The high-power Xinger is designed for power combining in applications ranging from DCS, PCS, W-CDMA, UMTS, ISM and the 2.4 Digital Audio Broadcast (DAB) band. It provides a minimum isolation of 21 dB and a maximum insertion loss of 0.23 dB. In addition, it has a phase balance of ± 3 degrees and a return loss better than 20 dB. The power handling is 100 watts for DAB and higher at lower frequencies. The 2A1306-3 is manufactured using materials with x and y thermal expansion coefficients compatible with many common substrates, including FR4, G-10 and polyamide, and can be used in a variety of high-power applications. The entire Xinger line is supported by Anaren's exclusive OnSpec™ guarantee and the B-There™ service commitment that ensures on-time delivery and free samples in 24 hours for qualified prototype work.
