Communications & Energy Corporation announces model CEC-459, a tunable notch filter which suppresses C-Band interference to satellite receiving stations. Model CEC-459 is inserted into the cable between the TVRO block down-converter and the receiver. It tunes the entire block band 950 to 1450 MHz to suppress terrestrial microwave analog telephone and data carriers. It passes the AC/DC converter powering voltage. Notch loss and 3 dB bandwidth are 15 dB and 3 MHz, respectively. Connectors are type F.
