Directional Couplers

MECA's 715 series directional couplers are suited for systems applications where precise monitoring, external leveling, signal mixing or swept transmission and reflection measurements are necessary. Air-line construction provides for low insertion loss (less than 0.1 dB) while delivering directivity of 30 dB typical and VSWR of 1.10:1 typical. Nominal coupling values of 6, 10, 20, 30, and 40 dB are standard. These models (500 watts average, 10 kW peak) are available in four bandwidths: 0.800 to 1.000 GHz, 1.700 to 2.200 GHz, 2.000 to 4.200 GHz and the V-Line, which covers all wireless bands from cellular through UMTS (0.800 to 2.200 GHz). All models are furnished with plated brass N-Female connectors, gold plated contact pins, virgin electrical grade PTFE insulation within the connectors and a rugged aluminum housing for superior RF EMI shielding. Operating temperature range is from – 65° to +150°C.
