M/A-COM announces a family of high power broadband amplifiers, which can be used in various applications, including communications and military electronic systems. The power levels, up to 16 W, are especially high for multi-octave GaAs MMICs covering frequency bands from 0.7 to 8.0 GHz. MAAPGM0074-DIE covers 2.0 to 8.0 GHz with an output power level of 8 W. Other typical performance parameters include gain of 14 dB and VSWRs of 1.7:1 input and 2.2:1 output. MAAPGM0076-DIE covers 1.3 to 2.5 GHz with an output power level of 16 W. Other typical performance parameters include gain of 25 dB and VSWRs of 1.3:1 input and 1.6:1 output. MAAPGM0077-DIE covers 0.7 to 2.5 GHz with an output power level of 13 W. Other typical performance parameters include gain of 23 dB and VSWRs of 1.7:1 input and 1.6:1 output. MAAPGM0078-DIE covers 2 to 6 GHz with an output power level of 12 W. Other typical performance parameters include gain of 20 dB and VSWRs of 1.4:1 input and 2.3:1 output.
