GaAs DPDT Switch

M/A-COM introduces a RoHS-compliant DPDT switch for applications that require ultra high power handling, low insertion loss and high isolation. The MASWSS0184 is a high power switch that maximizes system linearity performance while reducing DC Power consumption. The MASWSS0184 switch is designed for 802.16 (WiMAX) and MESH network applications that require high power handling at P1dB of 40 dBm, low typical insertion loss of 1.0 dB and a high isolation of 30 dB. Typical applications for this product include two antenna solutions requiring diversity switching in linear systems, thus connecting the receiver and transmitter to both antennas. The MASWSS0184 is available in lead-free surface mount 3 × 3 mm PQFN packaging. The switch is fabricated on a 0.5µ gate-length GaAs process with full passivation increasing reliability.
