Co-axial Circulator

REC has developed a new co-axial circulator at the 225 to 400 MHz frequency range for military communications applications. This lumped element circulator utilizes a patent pending design which preserves the symmetry between ports while maintaining a broad performance. The unit is lightweight, made with an aluminum housing designed to provide an efficient heat dissipation path. Typical electrical performances from 㫀°C to +85°C are 16 dB isolation, 1.0 dB IL, 1.40: 1 VSWR, radiation leakage below 𤩔 dBc and 2nd harmonic level less than 㫔dBc. The robust construction of the housing and involved electronic circuitry allows the circulator to sustain mechanical shocks and vibrations specified by military flight standards. This makes the circulator suitable for both ground and airborne applications.
