Texas Instruments unveils its C2000 Renewable Energy Developer's Kit that is a scaled down version of a digitally controlled DC/AC inverter. With a maximum power output of 45 W, the EVM board is capable of syncing to an external AC line and managing a back-up battery. The EVM board provides all the necessary current and voltage measurements to necessary to implement advanced algorithms such as maximum power point tracking. The kit includes an F2808 controlCARD, renewable energy EVM, 32 KB limited CCS V3.3 and full hardware and software documentation. Features include front end single phase boost, AC line sensing and synchronization, and open source hardware and software with full documentation.
