Jitter Attenuator



Valpey Fisher Corporation introduces the VFJA905 Jitter Attenuator, an integrated clock/PLL timing solution for 1 G and 10 G synchronous Ethernet applications. It features two LVCMOS output swith a frequency of 25 MHz that can be locked to an input reference frequency. Two select inputs, S1 and S0, allow the user to select one of three preset input frequencies or a free-run mode. The VFJA905 provides a selectable input frequency range from 8 KHz to 200 MHz and an output frequency range of 10 to 200 MHz. It features ultra-low out put jitter (0.18 ps RMS 12 KHz to 20 MHz). The device operates from a +3.3 VDC power supply and typically consumes 150mW. The VFJA905 is available in a 19.5 mm × 15.5 mm surface mount package and is RoHS 6/6 compliant.
