COTS Controllers for LCDs in Harsh Environments
Digital View introduces its HE-1400 and HE-1600 series of COTS LCD controllers that are designed to comply with the standards required for the harsh environments encountered in military and rugged industrial applications. Both controllers feature wide tolerance power supplies (12 VDC ± 25 percent), locking connectors and low-mass tantalum capacitors for maximum tolerance to shock and vibration, Mil-spec silicon resin conformal coatings, laboratory-certified operating temperature ranges of -40°C to +80°C, and calculated MTBF in excess of 150 K hours (HE-1600) and 200 K hours (HE-1400). Both are RoHS compliant. A range of accessories is available, including audio amplifier, inverter interface board, OSD button board, OSD membrane kits and IR remote control.
