Lambda introduces a compact, lightweight family of DC/DC converters. RoHS compliant, the PSS 1.5 to 10 W converters are designed for use in a number of applications, ranging from factory automation to communications equipment. The Lambda PSS series comprises of 48 models, with power ratings of 1.5, 3, 6, and 10 W; each power rating can be supplied with a choice of 5, 12, 24, and 48 V nominal input voltages, and with a 3.3, 5, or 12 V outputs. The four compact package sizes measure from 0.79 inches× 0.63 inches× 0.31 inches (1.5 W models) to 1.61 inches× 1.02 inches× 0.31 inches (10 W models). A ventilated case gives the series a weight of 4 grams for the 1.5 W models and 14 grams for the 10 W units.
