Aeroflex announces their narrow band medium power amplifier (NBPAs) product family. The PA015018-33 is the first unit of the family with a frequency range of 1.5 to 1.9 GHz. The design features a fault monitor able to respond in less than 200 nS allowing the user to separate the existence of a single pulse in the pulse stream. The unit delivers 2 W of output power. Hermetic and non-hermetic packaging is available.
