
1. Technical Features
All articles need to focus on the technology, applications, issues, problems
and solutions pertaining to the specific topic. The article should be
written as generically as possible and cannot be product focused. Mentioning
a product is permitted, but should be used only as an example to support
what is being discussed in the article. Our target readers are RF/digital/embedded
industry designers, engineers, product managers. A brief abstract or outline
must be submitted for approval before an article position can be reserved
for the company. Article deadlines are approximately 6 weeks prior to
the month of publication.
Article Specifications:
Length: 1600 words (approx.)
Images: 4 (maximum)
(Graphics need to be in a format that can be manipulated by programs such
as Photoshop and Quark. Preferred formats include TIFFs, JPEGs or EPS
with a resolution of 300 dpi minimum). Letters and symbols, axis, etc.
in the graphic should be large enough to shrink down and still be readable
(minimum 9 pt. type in 2-column wide graphics).
The final article should be sent in txt format with images submitted in
separate files. We cannot accept images embedded in the document. In addition,
include captions with the artwork as well as a short bio of the author
and the contact information that should appear at the end of the article
for follow-up purposes.
2. Technology Focus Articles
The tech focus is part of the product section. It covers a wide spectrum
and allows limited advertorial content. It should be a mix of a product
and its technology and how it can help in the wireless design/development
environment. A brief abstract or outline must be submitted for approval
before an article position can be reserved for the company. Article deadlines
are approximately 6 weeks prior to the month of publication.

Length: 800 to 1,000 words
Images: 1-3 (See above under Technical Features for image
requirements.)
3. Technology Supplement Articles
